Browser tools process files on your device. Server tools upload files only after you confirm the temporary server-processing notice.

Browser processing

When you choose a file, your browser reads it locally. Previews and output files are generated in memory on your device. We do not intentionally store documents in browser storage. Start again or close the tab to release the working session. Downloads are saved wherever you choose on your device; you control those copies.

Website requests

Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers its assets. Like other hosting providers, it processes connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and technical request details to deliver and protect the site. Worker logs and traces may contain operational request information. Document contents are not intentionally written to operational logs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices.

Anonymous usage statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and first-party usage reports to understand website traffic and tool reliability. Reports include public page paths, website language, job outcomes, file and page counts, download clicks and processing time. We do not send filenames, document contents, extracted text or form values through analytics. Fonts and file-processing libraries are served with the website.

Temporary browser session storage remembers the time of your last page load to estimate browser sessions. Our usage reports are retained for up to 90 days. Temporary, keyed security identifiers help limit abusive requests; we do not store raw IP addresses in the usage database. The private owner dashboard uses an essential login cookie. Blocking usage reports does not prevent local PDF processing.

Temporary server processing

Office-to-PDF conversion and lossless PDF compression send a file to BullPDF’s isolated Cloudflare container after your confirmation. Only a generic processing filename is sent. The container has no outbound internet access and is destroyed after each job; we do not store input or output documents in a database or storage bucket. Downloads are held in your browser until you save them or leave the page. Anonymous job counts are retained separately. Other coming-soon tools do not accept files.

PDF password protection, unlocking, grayscale conversion and form flattening use the same temporary processing system. PDF passwords are sent only inside the encrypted upload body, never in URLs or analytics. We do not store or recover these passwords. Unlocking uses the password you supply and requires your confirmation that you are authorized to modify the document.

Your choices

You can use available tools without an account. You can cancel a job, clear your selection or close the page. Always keep an original copy and review results before sharing them. Your browser and operating system may retain downloaded files or temporary data according to their own settings.

PDF to Word also uploads your file for temporary isolated processing. It creates a .docx from selectable text; scanned pages need OCR, which is not included. The temporary container is destroyed after the job.
